A 5 hectare site under development since Sept. 2006. We have been assigned the plot where all the community projects go (school, sports, park, hospital etc.) The services (streets,water, light etc.) will be completed in a year and a half.
The land for the hospital is between the oil refinery of Jose and a town called Clarines. It is a new project that is planned to give infrastructure for the refinery's workers who now commute to Puerto La Cruz every day (30-45min from there). A new high way is connecting all this to Caracas and when ready this is going to be great. There are no hospitals around for the local people and workers. The donor plans to built a semiprivate hospital for emergency and surgery next to the Hospitaller's Primary Care Facility, so all the health services are together.
